Caitlyn was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and raised in the suburbs of Detroit. She attended the University of Michigan, where she studied the Middle East. Currently residing in Manhattan, Caitlyn has also lived in Germany, Britain, Belgium, Sweden, Israel, and China. She speaks English and German, and can get by in a few other languages as well.
