Thank you for booking the ABCVIP outdoor HamilTour with Broadway Up Close (BUC)! Please read the following instructions regarding the tour:
Since Hamilton’s winding downtown Manhattan streets remain unchanged over 200 years later, they can often be confusing to navigate. If you have a smartphone, the easiest way to find the starting location is to enter “Coenties Alley” on Google Maps (also below). The tour begins near the massive 85 Broad Street building entrance in between S. William and Pearl Streets.
We strongly encourage you to be as obsessed with Hamilton: An American Musical as we are prior to your tour! We will share many historical tidbits and “making of the musical” tales that will be much more enjoyable if you’re familiar with the lyrics we’re referring to.
Broadway Tidbit: Almost every show on Broadway begins seven minutes late, but here at Broadway Up Close we try to have our tours start on time. Your guide will arrive approximately five to seven minutes before your scheduled reservation in hopes that we can begin right at 11:00am.
At the conclusion of your HamilTour, your guide will take a high-resolution photo of your group as a memento of your tour with us here at BUC.
In an effort to be a little more Earth-conscious we don’t use any sort of paper tickets for the tour. When you arrive for your tour, your guide will have all of your reservation details and will simply “check you in” before beginning your tour.
Because BUC packs in as many entertaining stories and information as possible in our hour and forty-five-minute tour, there is not a stop for any bathroom breaks along the way and as the tour is completely outdoors, please dress appropriately for the weather on the day of your tour. The more comfortable you are, the more you will be able to enjoy the tour! For our warmer Summer months, make sure to bring a bottle of water with you to stay hydrated.
Lastly, we must mention that we are not affiliated with the Broadway production in any way, shape, or form. Our tour will provide great Hamilton insight to enhance your enjoyment when you do finally snag those coveted tickets to the show!
As per the CDC’s guidance, any tour-goer who is fully vaccinated may participate in our tours without a mask. As an added layer of safety, every tour guide is fully vaccinated. Please feel free bring a mask and if at any point you or someone in your party is feeling uncomfortable, please let the tour guide know! Everyone has different levels of comfort and we are very sensitive to that. ♥
